Other patches

I also needed to patch the quarter panels, replace the inner fender passenger side front, and replace the inner fender top sections.

The Tin Knocker

Up next was the floor pans. This required hours upon hours of cutting, fitting, pounding, welding, hammering, welding, pounding, welding, hammering, welding, hammering and so on. This took allot of time but I am glad I did it. I replace the full floor pans on drivers and passenger side.

Rotisserie Mustang - It's whats for dinner!

I borrowed a rotisserie from a friend of a friend. This thing allows me to rotate the car 360 degrees for doing the sheet metal, floor board, and body work. One person can spin it all the way around.

Off to the Media Blaster

After dis-assembly I took it in for media blasting to strip off all the old paint and rust. I cam back so clean! I was very pleased and there was no "surprises".

The Story

This is my wife's first car. She bought it while we where dating in college in 1985. A couple years later when we got married we sold it to her dad. He parked and there it sat for 20 years. I decided I wanted to restore it for Andrea. This is what it looked like when we got it back from her dad.
